True Nature Journeys is a small social enterprise dedicated to international travel and wilderness quests that explore the essence of being human. We offer custom trips throughout the world, including Peru, Bhutan, Mexico, and legal, ‘people to people’ travel to Cuba, that integrate the exploration of the people, cultures, and landscapes of our planet with the exploration and creative expression of our unique paths as individuals. Where in the world does your heart call you?Cuba Music People to People Singing

You may gather a group and create your own trip, or join us on an already scheduled trip. True Nature Journeys typically have a theme or personal practice integrated into the trip, such as yoga, meditation, music, dance, or writing. True Nature Journeys are meant for the traveler who longs for authentic travel experience, whether the adventure riding a local bus in South America, drumming with Cuban musicians on a legal trip to Cuba, practicing meditation in the centuries old monasteries of Bhutan, or simply having the time to discover a fresh perspective on your life.

Legal, People to People Travel to Cuba

In 2014, True Nature Journeys received a license from the United States government to offer legal, “People to People” trips to Cuba, studying music, drumming, and dance. Tour operator licenses are no longer required, but travelers must be able to show that their itinerary meets the educational requirements of a People to People itinerary. The Rhythms of Cuba trip follows the same itinerary that was approved by the U.S. government. These trips always fills fast, so we recommend signing up now if you are interested. Customized Travel for Groups and Communities

True Nature Journeys specializes in trips for groups who already share a common interest, and in creating customized itineraries that weave an educational theme or personal practice into the trip. If you have a group of at least six, or are a leader, teacher or facilitator of a community and are interested in co-leading a group, click here for more information about putting together a custom trip.
